zep talks the way you want it to.
Tone, language, answer style — all in a short form. No prompt engineering, no YAML, no hidden configs. You enter name, branding, greeting and system prompt — then add knowledge in the dashboard.

Three frictions you don't have to deal with.
- No 12-step wizard. Bot type, name, color, greeting, prompt — then the bot exists. Knowledge comes afterwards.
- The prompt stays yours. You write it once in the form and change it any time in the dashboard. No hidden generator overwrites it.
- Everything in one place. Six weeks later you change greeting or tone in the bot dashboard — not in a Notion doc.
A few fields, then the bot exists.
You fill in the form yourself: bot type, name, color, greeting and system prompt. There is no conversation wizard and no slider that writes the prompt for you.
Bot type
Language model or coding
Name + slug
my-bot.zeptix.io
Brand color
one color from the presets
Greeting
Hi! How can I help you?
System prompt
Tone, topics, limits — in your own words
Six concrete fields — nothing hidden.
Each field is visible in the form or right after in the dashboard. No YAML, no magic config in some backend.
Choose the bot type
Language model for support, advice and knowledge. Coding for scripts and technical tasks. Both start in the same form.
Name, slug, subdomain
You set the name and address. Default is .zeptix.io; .zeptix.dev is recommended for coding bots.
Brand color
One color from the presets. Logo and further branding details come afterwards in the bot dashboard.
Greeting
You enter the first sentence yourself. Later you can change it any time in the dashboard.
System prompt
You write tone, allowed topics and limits yourself. There is no hidden generator that overwrites the text.
Knowledge afterwards
You upload PDF, website or text after creation in the dashboard or in Training — not in the first form.
FAQ on bot setup.
Can I still write my own system prompt?
Yes. You write the system prompt yourself in the setup form and can change it any time in the bot dashboard.
Does the bot learn from the questions users ask?
On the standard plan: no. We log questions anonymized (if you enable logging), but the bot is not automatically retrained. On the Pro plan you can manually mark answers as “good” / “bad” — those feed into the next iteration, but explicitly, not silently.
What if I need different tones for different audiences?
Then you need several bots. Starter: 3, Pro: 5, Business: 10 — each with its own setup, its own style, its own URL. You can share or separate the knowledge base.
How do I prevent the bot from answering off-topic?
You write allowed topics and clear limits in the system prompt. Later you can refine that in the dashboard and add missing knowledge in Training.
Can I still change the bot after creating it?
Yes. Name, color, greeting, prompt and knowledge can be changed any time in the bot dashboard. The form is only the start.
